Midlands Office
Our Midlands Office is led by David Kenyon, who has spent over 30 years in Construction with both Contractors and Consultants.

David founded SOMA in 1990 and has extensive experience in the resolution of construction disputes. He is a Chartered Civil Engineer and combines his commercial, technical and contractual knowledge to settle disputes by negotiation, Adjudication or Arbitration.

David has acted as expert witness on many occasions, reporting on quantum and technical issues.

South Wales Office
The South Wales Office is managed by Dennis Baldwin, joint founder of SOMA, who also has over 30 years’ experience in the Construction Industry working for both Consultants and Contractors.

Dennis is a Chartered Civil Engineer, Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Chartered Arbitrator, and a panel-listed Arbitrator, Adjudicator and Mediator with the major construction organisations and professional institutions.

Dennis has acted as Adjudicator, Arbitrator and party representative in over 120 disputes, and provides legal and contractual advice on dispute resolution under standard and bespoke Conditions of Contract.
